We all knew that the right side of the OL and our defensive secondary are our weaknesses. We have been able to cover that up against some teams but the Saints are built perfect to take advantage of it.
When we play them in Carolina there needs to be a game plan in place to correct this. The problem is you cna only game plan so much and if you don't have the personell to make the plays it really does not matter.
For arguments sake on D I would run a ton of stunts to try and free up the front 4. Stunts leave you open to be run against but our LB core will have to handle that. We can not win against the Saints if we don't get to Brees. We need to get guys like Hardy or CJ stunting to the A gap and getting into Brees' face. To help in the secondary I would play a zone coverage. We can not match up man to man with bigger WRs. We need to play zone and get pressure with teh front 4 to have a chance.
On O I would run, run and run some more. Keep the DL guessing and on their heels. When we do pass we need to either have 2 TE sets of have Tolbert stay in to help out the right side of our OL. We need to throw screens and slants to get the ball out of Cam's hand quick but we need to get rid of that smoke pass. It is just not working this year.
